Our organization is unique, in that it is a New Testament local church based ministry with the express intent to examine issues and information of scientific interest in light of the Bible. The truth is that God created the world, so that all the facts discovered by scientific observation will support the creation model of origins.
Recognizing that Jesus Christ is Creator God, the Savior of all men, and that all things were made by him: we believe that all the facts of science are founded in him. Because of the vigorous opposition to God by evolutionism, many believers who acknowledge creation are cowed to silence by wrong interpretations of these facts in this highly technical and scientific time. We need to be assured that all the truths of scientific discovery fit the creation model of origins. It is false economy in this information rich time to plead ignorance and capitulate to the anti-god philosophy of humanism. We will, by the grace of God, seek to understand, address, and answer issues pressing upon us today by re-establishing the biblical creationist basis in the church to equip saints for ministry in the world.

Because of the worldwide inundation by evolutionary humanism, the mission field at home, next door, and abroad has increasingly become totally ignorant that there is alternative to the pervasive teaching of modern popular science. The victims of ungodly leaders and teachers who willfully reject God and creationism, are ceaselessly indoctrinated by evidence wrongly interpreted with the result that they know nothing of the biblical creationist model of origins. God has spoken to man clearly and we need to tell men this only legitimate basic understanding of the natural world that they may see and believe this revelation they are accountable to. We will, by God's grace, seek to know and understand the foundation principles of biblical creation to be able thereby to reach men for Christ.

Creationist Fellowship had an encouraging first meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday January 13, 1994. The fellowship's leader Glenn Harris read the statements of purpose, and talked about the perspectives of creationism. He said that creationism is important to God and man. It is important to God as is evidenced by His declaration of who He is: the Creator God. It is also important to man, defining the basic issue of who man is, the creature (the vessel in the Potter's hand).
Creationism is the truth about science so that all the facts of science and all scientific discoveries fit the creation model of origins. God has revealed himself to man in Scripture, which makes it necessary for men to know, understand and obey the Word of God. Bible study, then, is essential if we want to glorify God. As well, since true science is creationist, it cannot be divorced from Scripture.
Creationism is territory that has been given up and needs to be taken up again. Historically, ignorance of what they believed caused God's people to abandon science to the evolutionists. By giving up, believers have stopped accomplishing God's will that men learn about, and be husbandmen to His creation. As a result, God has had to use unbelievers to accomplish His purposes: although they never intend to do so. Now, their humanist philosophy seems to have won the day. But, believers cannot continue to ignore the world. It won't go away! We need to become knowledgeable and re interpret science from the true creation model viewpoint.
The fellowship then viewed the awesome video Blue Planet as a fitting example of the magnitude of current scientific endeavor that is being so grossly misinterpreted by the humanists. The spectacular images of our planet from space are an encouraging stimulation to speak out to friends, neighbors, and co-workers about the glory of the Creator and Savior Jesus Christ. Many don't even know there is a scientific interpretation alternative to evolutionary theory.
With the whole of the establishment scientific community being evolutionist, it often seems that creation science lacks a following. Not so, for there are many organizations of various types that take a stand for creation. Most are not like us. But, many are excellent. Each stands on its own merits. This list is that you may be aware that these exist, and does not necessarily imply endorsement of any organization by Creationist Fellowship.
This is an extensive (twenty-five pages) Worldwide Directory of Creationist Organizations (click Back to return here) prepared by Glen Wolfrom for CRS, Inc. He would appreciate knowing of groups to add to his list: e-mail CRSnetwork@aol.com
